Welcome to Blind Date! The live comedy show that’s basically watching Tinder in real life. Two comedians host a show packed with stand-up comedy, the funniest and most bizarre dating stories, and we hear what really gives people the ICK. At the heart of the show are the viral Blind Date segments, where a select few from the audience will find out if love really is blind. You can throw your name in the hat for a chance to join the comedians on stage, or just sit back with a drink and watch the chaos unfold. Either way, it’s the funniest night out you’ll have all year. You’ll never be dragged up on stage unless you want to be. Come for the laughs, stay for the stories.

How does the show work?
get involved or sit back & watch the show!
Each show kicks off with your comedian hosts taking the stage to deliver a taste of their standup comedy skills, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Each comedian performs a a 5 to 7 minute set packed with laughs to break the ice and get the crowd buzzing before diving into the exciting show segments.
But the laughs don’t stop there—our hosts will keep the humour flowing throughout the night, making sure the vibe stays lighthearted and fun from start to finish.
This is where we find out if love really is blind! One brave volunteer is blindfolded on stage, while our comedian hosts play cupid—asking random, and sometimes ridiculous, questions to three contestants trying to win their attention with epic (or sometimes concerning) answers.
The blindfolded person chooses who they feel the best connection with based purely on the answers. It’s fun, light-hearted, and the audience always loves the big reveal when they meet for the first time.
This one’s a classic. How much do you trust your mate? Here’s your chance to find out. You grab a friend who wants to get up on stage—they get blindfolded, and you play the ultimate wingman (or wingwoman). You ask the questions, pick the winner, and hope they’re happy with your choice.
You’ll either be telling the story at their wedding, or your friendship might just be put to the test! It’s all about having a laugh and seeing if your matchmaking skills are up to scratch.
This is your chance to spill the tea on your dating life! Our ballot boxes are here for you to share the Best or Worst Pickup Lines you’ve heard or used, your Funniest and Cringiest First Date Experiences, and those infamous Dating Icks—the biggest turn-offs that make you go “nope!” The best entries on the night might even score you a complimentary drink on the house.
So, don’t hold back—let’s laugh, cringe, and bond over the wonderfully chaotic world of dating!
Hidden in the audience are 8 mysterious Cock Block Cards, each holding the power to eliminate a contestant vying for a date on stage. Here’s the catch: if you hold one of these cards, you’ve got to make the tough call. To use it, you’ll need to look the contestant in the eye, hand them the card, and send them packing back to their seat. It’s savage, it’s awkward, and it’s hilariously entertaining—will you be the one to shake things up?
Frequently Asked Questions
You've got questions. We've got answers.
Do I have to participate on stage?
Nope! Not at all. We do recommend it though.
What is the age bracket?
It’s an 18+ all ages event – The average age is from 25 to 54.
What time should I get there?
The bar opens 45 minutes before the show. Please get there 30 minutes before the show to be seated and served in time.
How does the show work?
Sunday Singles is essentially a comedy show with a fun singles twist! Our comedians deliver non-stop laughs, making it more about enjoying the humour than a typical singles event.
There’s plenty of time to mingle at the bar before the show, during the intermission, and after the event—perfect for meeting new people casually.
If you’re feeling up for it, you can volunteer before the show to join in on-stage fun, but there’s absolutely no pressure to participate.
The comedians will explain everything on the day, so just relax and get ready for a great time!
Is this similar to speed dating?
not at all. Speed dating is all about forced small talk with a timer. We’re here for the laughs, the games, and letting connections happen naturally. Plus, with comedians keeping it fun, you’re never stuck in a boring chat.
I'm not single, can i still attend?
Of course! If you’re taken, you can still come along, have a laugh, and watch the show unfold. Plus, why not bring your single friend along for a bit of fun? You could even get them up on stage in the ‘Have You Met My Mate’ segment and play the ultimate wingman or wingwoman.
It’s a great excuse to attend and support your friend, and who knows – you might be telling the story at their wedding 😉
Who will be hosting the event?
We’ve got some of Australia’s funniest comedians running the show. They keep the energy up, make sure everyone’s laughing, and know how to turn any awkward moment into something to laugh about.
Check out our our comedians page to learn more.
How can I participate on stage?
We love the enthusiasm—you won’t regret it! Get to the venue when doors open (about 30 minutes early) and let the staff know you want to volunteer. They’ll connect you with the event manager or comedians to put your name down. We’ll take your name and age to match you up with other volunteers. While we can’t promise everyone a spot, you’ll definitely have a blast either way.
Just a heads up, the shows are usually recorded for social media, so if you’re not keen on being filmed, it might be best to sit this one out.
What should I wear?
There’s no strict dress code, but we recommend smart casual. Wear what you’d normally put on for a night out or when you’re trying to make a good first impression.
And a little tip…. freshen up! A quick shower, brushing your teeth, and a check in the mirror goes a long way. No one enjoys poor hygiene, so make sure you’re ready to feel your best.
Can i buy tickets on the door?
If we haven’t sold out, then yep, you can grab tickets at the door. But these shows fill up fast, so booking in advance is definitely the way to go. head to our events page to find tickets online to upcoming shows.
How many people will be there?
We usually get 120 to 300 people, depending on the venue. It’s always a full house, good vibes, and plenty of chances to meet new people—so no need to worry about being the only one there.
In the rare chance a show doesn’t have enough people attending, we’ll cancel it. We care too much about the quality of the show to have an event sub par. If we cancel it you’ll get a refund straight away.
Is it allocated seating?
Nope, seating is first come, first served. If you’re coming with a group, make sure to get to the show at least 30 minutes early to have the best chance of sitting together.
Is it something I can go to on my own?
100%. Loads of people come solo, and some people say it’s actually the best ways to enjoy it. No distractions, just you, the show, and plenty of opportunities to meet people on your terms.
When should I get there?
Aim to get there 30 minutes early. It gives you time to grab a drink, say hi to a few people, and settle in before the comedians hit the stage.
