We flipped the script on dating, offering an alternative to the soulless world of online dating apps and swiping endlessly.
The very first pilot show was a hit, and we knew we were onto something special. What started as a fun idea quickly grew into a movement. After the pilot, our videos went viral on social media, and our Instagram account skyrocketed from less than 1000 followers to over 250,000 followers in a matter of weeks—proving that people were ready for a change.
Soon enough, we were getting calls from all over the world, with people asking us to bring Sunday Singles to their town. Fast forward to now, and we’ve got comedians trained up and shows running throughout the year across Australia, from Perth to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and beyond.

Our comedians play Cupid, inviting volunteers to put their name down for the chance to join in the fun on stage. One of our favourite segments is Blind Dates, where a lucky participant is blindfolded while potential matches try to win them over by answering questions from our comedians. It’s cheeky, playful, and always full of surprises.
Then there’s ‘Have You Met My Mate’ (formerly known as ‘Win Your Mate A Date’). This segment is all about mates looking out for each other. The single person is blindfolded while their wingman takes charge, asking a series of hilarious, random questions to a group of contestants. The wingman then picks who they reckon is the best fit for their mate. It’s unpredictable, a bit cheeky, and guaranteed to have the whole room in stitches.
We also have the Sunday Secrets segment. Throughout the night, everyone can drop their juiciest confessions or dating disasters into our ballot boxes. The comedians read the best entries to the audience, turning the room into one big group therapy session—filled with laughter, shared experiences, and the comfort of knowing everyone’s got a cringeworthy dating story or two. The funniest secrets even score a complimentary drink, making honesty well worth it!
